Brit Tom Aspinall on the hunt for UFC heavyweight title

After a year-long layoff due to a career-stalling knee injury, Tom Aspinall returned to the octagon at UFC London. In a spectacular comeback victory, the British fighter knocked out Marcin Tybura, putting him back in the hunt for the UFC heavyweight title.

A year of struggle

Tom Aspinall expressed the difficulties he faced over the past year, stating that he wasn't himself during that time. However, after his stunning victory, he confidently declared that he's ready to go all the way to the top.

Stunning first-round TKO

Aspinall wasted no time in showing his skills, landing a huge head kick that staggered Tybura within seconds of the fight. Although Tybura had a moment of success, Aspinall quickly capitalized on an opening and delivered a devastating straight right that sent his opponent to the canvas.

Plans for the future

Immediately after his victory, Aspinall revealed his plans. He will be heading to Paris in September to watch Ciryl Gane face off against Sergei Spivack, with the goal of earning a shot at the current heavyweight champion, Jon Jones.
