'Like a Shark Bite' - Fans Left Sickened
UFC star Chris Padilla suffered a horror cut during his UFC London fight against Jai Herbert but still emerged victorious in a split decision.
The American fighter took on Britain's Jai Herbert and battled through a gruesome gash above his left eye caused by an elbow from Herbert.
Despite the severe cut, Padilla managed to win the decision, leaving fans shocked and sickened by the graphic injury.
One fan commented, "Looks like a shark bite," while another remarked, "Definitely going to have a nice little scar from that."
Padilla's Grit and Determination
Commenting on the brutal cut, Padilla revealed, "S***, I don't know bro it just hurt like a b***h if you want me to be honest with you. But it is what it is bro, like I always say I win by any means."
He continued, "If this was going to happen, s*** I would have taken one right across the face. I would have still walked forward. I couldn't see nothing out of my left eye there was blood pouring down. But I was ready to run that s*** up no matter what."
Despite the challenging circumstances, lightweight Padilla, 29, now holds a record of 16-6 in the cage and secured his sixth consecutive win.
