The Irishman, albeit with the aid of a cane, is already on his feet and feeling capable of throwing any of his many kicks.

Adam's Apple was told by him: "I feel like kicking right now.

"I feel like I could kick right about now, but I have to listen to my doctors and listen to those who are leading me.

"That's all I've done so I'm satisfied with my work. Now I'm ready to get back on the ground.

"It feels so good to get back on your feet."

McGregor, the UFC's first two-weight champion simultaneously, has had to deal with mental trauma from his terrible injury.

He said, "I was upset for quite a while. It was not easy, you understand what I mean.

"There have been some ups and downs in this [journey]

It's one of the most amazing things I've ever experienced in my entire life. You get what I'm referring to?

"It wasn't all smooth sailing but I made it through. My family and close friends were always there for me.

"And we are getting there. "We still have a lot to do.

McGregor isn't going against doctors' orders, even though he feels able to resume throwing kicks.

He stated, "I don’t want to get ahead of myself."

"But, like I said before, I feel like a kicker now.

"I am not yet advised to kick, but I will get back, man. Are you thinking that a broken bone will stop me? You might be wrong.

McGregor made America his homeaway from home to achieve his goal of full fitness.

And The Dubliner is determined that he will be more powerful than ever when he steps foot in the octagon.
