Kattar's work, which included some very nasty elbows, has led the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) to suspend Chikadze indefinitely.
Chikadze (33 years old) will not be allowed to compete in contact training or participate in any competition until he has been cleared by the commission.
The former GLORY featherweight must also undergo an MRI before being examined by a neurosurgeon in the next two weeks.
Kattar, a New England Cartel member, was victorious but was still subject to a medical suspension.
Due to a possible six-month stay on the sidelines, the Bostonian faces a possible nasal fracture. However, he may be able to return sooner if he is cleared by an ENT doctor.
He was also banned by the NAC from competing before March 2, at the earliest. Contact is not permitted after February 15.
In spite of being the recipient of a Kattar performance that was virtuoso, Chikadze still showed tremendous heart in his first defeat in an octagon.
The Tbilisi titan believes that he is a better fighter then Kattar.
He stated, "I f ****d up yesterday, but it's all okay. It's all part of the learning process. This is how I am learning.
"Next time, I'm going back so much more stronger.
"I already feel sorry for my future opponents so I'm going learn a lot. "Ruin me on that.
"Also I feel like if this guy fought with me 10 times, nine would be my win. This would be the one that I would lose. That was last night.
It is what it is. I made mistakes and now I am paying for them. It's all okay.
