DUBLINER Ian Garry shared photos of his wedding to TV presenter Layla Anna Lee.
Garry, a former champion of Cage Warriors' welterweight division, began dating the 38-year-old television presenter early last year. They were married last week in Las Vegas.
Garry delivered on the UFC hype by finishing Jordan Williams at UFC 268, Madison Square Garden. Now he will make his second UFC appearance against Darian Weeks at UFC 273.
Weeks, his opponent (4-1 MMA and 0-1 UFC), is coming off his first loss in his young MMA career. He lost unanimously to Bryan Barberena at UFC Fight Night: Font vs. Aldo’.
In anticipation of his fight against the American, the unbeaten welterweight shared photos on Instagram.
Garry openedly admitted that he enjoys being compared to Conor McGregor in the UFC, and that was summed up after his victory over Williams.
He stated: "A wise Irishman once spoke before me that he stepped into this exact cage and said, We're not here for part, but we're here take over. This is the second part of the takeover.
McGregor quickly congratulated his fellow Dubliner via social media following his win in the UFC.
