The fight ended in a draw, but Munhoz posted the extent of his injuries on Instagram.
He spoke in Portuguese, which was translated by MMA Fighting.
"I was poked in my eye in the first round, but I kept fighting and was hit with a low blow soon after.
"The fight resumed, and we exchanged some strikes.
"In the second round that was when I had another eye poke. For 20 minutes, I couldn't see any other objects.
"I was taken by the hospital, and they used an eyedrop to make my eye numb so that they could open my eyes.
"They performed an examination and I received a medical report that indicated there was a corneal scratch all around.
"I couldn’t open my eyes because of that, and couldn’t see anything."

He said, "I was piecing he up, but I didn't get hit one time."
"He came in and said, "I'm going kick his legs and bring him down." He tried to kick my legs, but it did more damage.
"He couldn’t get me up against a fence and couldn’t take me down." "I was dominating that fight."
