MIKE TYSON, Dana White were in fits of laughter when they remembered the Shark Week appearance of boxing legend Boxing Hall of Famer Dana White.
In 2020, the former heavyweight champion participated in an underwater challenge on Discovery Channel. He tickled a shark's nose and put it to sleep.
Shark Week 2020 saw Mike Tyson, a boxing legend, appear on the show.
UFC President Dana White helped Tyson get the gig
Tyson was astonished to hear White's story about how he got his job.
White, the UFC president, used his contacts in order to get Tyson onto the show to prevent the boxing legend - who he considers to be a close friend-- from returning to fight.
Tyson was initially concerned about his pal's safety when Tyson got him the gig. They couldn't help but laugh about it during a recent catch up.
Iron Mike stated: "I said, "He cares for me?" This n***a doesn't care about me. He wanted me to be hurt so he put me in the water with a shark.
White, a MMA mogul, said that he called him up and said, "Dude, I don’t want you to fight this f g fight.
"This is crazy f *****g. "I'll get a job for you on TV, and I'll show you how to make money.
"So I sent him to Shark Week. He was all, "Wait, a minute, do you really care about me?"
"You tell me to not fight, and you put me on the f g shark week.
"Yeah, I know you care about me. '"

White stated: "So the day that he had to jump into and do the shark thing. I guess he went crazy. He was pissed off, and the entire film crew is terrified.
"Everybody was afraid. He had to jump in the water and swim alongside these sharks.
Tyson spoke about the experience in a recent conversation with Joe Rogan, UFC commentator. He said: "My wife thought it a good idea too.
"I said, "Y'all m ***********s doesn't care about my." My wife replied, "That's a great idea. What's that?"
White's efforts to stop Tyson fighting again failed, and the legend returned to fight in November 2020 to face Roy Jones Jr.
Tyson was able to roll back the years, and put on a spectacular performance against the former world four-weight champion.
Iron Mike was open to the idea of lacing his gloves once again last year, but has yet to make a commitment to fight again.
