Bisping's documentary featured speeches by Rashad Evans and Georges St-Pierre, former opponents.
According to him, the BBC was told by Georges: "They are legends themselves - Georges is their biggest - and for them not to say what they did, it's incredible.
"Rashad Evans is actually clinging because he was so proud about what I did, again, it's difficult to find the right words.
"Everyone in the film said the most kind things to me, but I'm an idiot from Clitheroe. Do you see what I mean?"
