Fury has officially retired. He is living up to his promise to spend more time with his children and enjoy his hard-earned cash.
SugarHill Steward, Fury's trainer, has admitted that Fury quit boxing because he was getting bored by the politics of boxing.
Sky Sports' Steward said: "For him to be retired, I'm happy because it's what he desires."
"I know that a lot of his retirement is due to not getting the fights he desires and it's really mental challenging to be offered fights, go through negotiations and then have them fall through at the last minute.
These things happen to many fighters all over the globe. It's not something you would expect to happen on such a large stage, but it happens and it's something fighters must deal with.
We on the outside don't always get it. It's easier to just say, "If he wins the fight, he'll return", but it's not the same as being on the outside and going through what happens inside.
"But it is the sport he loves so deeply, and it's hurting his like that. These things must be considered and respected."
