AMIR Khan today stated that he feels "very unsafe" in London streets after his PS72k watch was stolen by gunmen.
The 35-year-old boxing champion was held hostage by robbers outside a Leyton restaurant.
Police are on the lookout for the men who took his PS72,000 Franck Muller Vanguard Chronograph, then drove off in a car.
Amir now says he believes London is "very danger" and urges fans to stay "safe and sound."
The boxer spoke on Good Morning Britain and said that he initially thought it was a friend, scaring me. The gun was actually pointed at me by the boxer.
"I have never seen a gun in the UK. It is dangerous for someone to possess a gun on the streets.

"My wife is right next to me so I can't retaliate." God forbid that the person who shot the gun accidentally hit my wife. It was so wonderful that she returned.
"I was in London for two more days, and when I got back to my apartment I was walking all over scared.
"God forbid that someone attacks me in the alleyways. I feel unsafe walking around London because it's very dangerous.
Khan was pictured in Oxford Street with a fan hours before the incident. He was wearing his flashy watch, which has 719 diamonds, while shopping.
Olympic Silver Medallist, the Olympic Silver Medallist, has shown off flash watches previously on social media. He posed with a PS30,000 Rolex that he described as a "treat" for himself.
According to him, ITV's show featured his statement: "For the past 15 years I have worn a nice watch. I treat myself after a fight."
"I meet people and go to the restaurants to take pictures. A lot of people have come over to me at the restaurant.
"But then, you don’t know if your watch has been set up if somebody sees me wearing it.
"He has a very expensive piece of jewelry on him. That can be taken off him.
Have a car prepared in case someone needs to have a gun. You will also need to know when I leave the restaurant and when you will be back.
It can't happen that way. There are many questions. Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London, came to my last fight. We've been friends for a long time.
"But, as someone who looks after London, these are important points to make. London is dangerous to visit.
"Since Sadiq's accession to power, the crime rate soared by 30%
"People are being murdered just a few days ago. It could have been me, I could have died if I was shot.
"It's becoming very difficult to live in London right now. Many people who have come from Dubai, Saudi Arabia to live in London have been robbed.
"I believe it would be beneficial to work with the government to assist, and if possible I'd love for that to happen because we want England to be safer."
He also said that Faryal was against him wearing flashy jewelry while walking around London.
Faryal stated: "You work hard, so you should be capable of treating yourself. But I think Amir forgets sometimes that he can get targeted.
You would never have thought that this would happen. It's a wake-up call. You can't really walk around London in an expensive dress.
Faryal said that she believes she did the right thing by walking away from the gunman who threatened her husband.
'COULDN'T FIGHT'
She said, "I couldn’t fight the gunman. I couldn’t do anything else."
"I couldn’t get in front of and get shot as much or get that. That’s when a husband feels the need to protect his wife.
"My first instinct was to hope Amir was safe, but I thought of my children.
The police are still asking anyone with information to come forward.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police stated that police were called Monday, April 18th at 21:15hrs to High Road, Leyton.
"An older man in his 30s was allegedly approached by two men who threatened him with the use of a firearm, before taking his watch and running.
"There were no reports of shots being fired or injuries.

"Police responded to the call and carried out a search of the area. There have been no arrests at this stage.
"An investigation is underway and police are investigating a variety of allegations."
