Leonard Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather Promotions, called Hearn a "pathological" liar

Hearn and Ellerbe have fought in the past. Ellerbe stated that Ellerbe, 56, has left followers to his Twitter parody account "NoContextHearn" in 2019.

Fight Hype interviewed the Matchroom Sport chairman and he stated that Devin Haney's defense of his WBC title against Joseph Diaz was a more difficult fight than Gervonta Davis’ WBA regular match vs Isaac Cruz.

He stated that he was not critical of Gervonta, but which fight is the biggest this weekend? Everyone is talking about Haney Diaz, I am sorry.

"No one is talking about Gervonta versus Isaac Cruz. It's not a bad fight, and I don't hate these guys. This fight (Haney-Diaz), is much larger and better.

"This isn’t me being a hater on fights. This is just reality. What does it mean (pay-per view buys) for Gervonta and Isaac Davis? 100,000? Less?

"Look, Isaac Cruz can be tough and very game. It's not a bad fight. It's coming off the back of [Terence] Crawford-[Shawn]Porter, Canelo [Alvarez].

"Then, two weeks later, off the back Crawford-Porter, you have Gervonta Davis up against someone nobody's ever heard."

Ellerbe was furious at his comments and reacted by bashing the Brit on social media.

He tweeted, "This is the last time that I address this pathological lie." Haney is an outstanding fighter, but this man lies for no reason. Bigger fight?

"You have sold less than 4K tickets at a 15k-seat venue. Tank did more in his presale before tickets were on sale."

Ellerbe, who called Eddie Hearn 'f*** Eddie Hearn,' said that he should promote his fight and not worry about Tank or what we're doing at our event.

"It's one of the oldest tricks in the book, but he should know better than to f*** me. I'm simply stating facts and he is lying to get some attention to his event.

"Why bring up someone else's event in order to try to shit it? Knowing you're lying, and getting ready for being exposed as lying.

"I like their fight, and I won't s*** on them just to promote my event." That's just whack!

Hearn responded to Ellerbe by saying that he lives'rent-free' in his head.

It said: "This is the last time you will address it... then address it about ten more times #rentfree."

His followers loved his joke, and one even commented that Eddie was winning against his favorite fan with a 10-8 round.

Another message was: "Lmaoooo Eddie got those guys on strings."

Another added: "Big up Eddie Hearn! They're all hating!"
