Ruiz has a 'ideal 19' weight to scrap with Ortiz on Sunday

Ruiz Jr. has not fought since his points win over Chris Arreola, May 2021. He has since quit Canelo Alvarez’s trainer Eddy Reynoso.

The 'Destroyer" has posted a behind-the scenes video of his fight on Twitter, showing a shocking transformation.

The ad shows him flexing with a shredded body and ripped upper body.

The Mexican-American fighter was defeated by Arreola and concerns were raised about his ideal weight.

For the Arreola fight, he was 18st 2lb lighter but the heavyweight champion and snickers-loving snitcher had previously ballooned to over 20 stone.

Ruiz is back at 19st. He said he was most comfortable there, but he seems to have gained some muscle, as you can see from the teaser footage.

Ortiz (43), his opponent, is well-known for his fights with Deontay wilder, who won both fights via knockout.

Wilder was unable to stop 'King Kong' in his first fight. Wilder won every round of the rematch, winning until the 7th round.

Ortiz won his fights against Alexander Flores and Charles Martin in six rounds.

The card will feature Ruiz Jr. vs Ortiz as well as a fantastic lightweight clash between Isaac Cruz and Eduardo Ramirez.

Jose Valenzuela, a top lightweight talent, is also fighting Jezreel corrales in a difficult bout.
