After having his eyes examined, Joshua took pictures with staff members at the shop.

Joshua is currently training at Loughborough in preparation for his highly-anticipated match with Oleksandr Uzyk next month.

He is also making sure that his eyes are in top condition before the bout.

Joshua arranged a last-minute test with Tej Chauhan (ophthalmologist and director), who initially kept Joshua's visit secret from his staff.

SunSport spoke with Chauhan, who said it was an "honour" and a "privilege" to have AJ in his shop for a test.

When news broke of his visit, AJ relaxed and was happy to pose for photos with shop employees.

The boxer, who is 6ft 6in tall, also spent time talking to the employees of the store.

The team wished Joshua good luck in his fight against Usyk.

Joshua wore a casual white T-shirt, trousers and sunglasses as he took photos with staff.

AJ went to the Loughborough branch on the recommendation of Richard Riakporhe and Frazer Clarke, fellow Brit boxers.

All three of them train at Loughborough University.

Elite athletes often use the university's state-of-the art facilities, so the team at Specsavers London are used to working with professional sportspeople.

Joshua moved from Sheffield to Loughborough earlier in the year.
