Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou will decide who will challenge Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk to undisputed heavyweight title.

The winner of the upcoming fight between Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou will have the opportunity to challenge for the undisputed heavyweight title. This highly anticipated match is set to take place on March 8 in Saudi Arabia.

Unification of the Heavyweight Titles

In a historic event, Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will be competing for all four world titles just three weeks before the Joshua vs Ngannou fight. This is the first time in heavyweight history that all four titles will be up for grabs in a single match.

Saudi Arabia's boxing boss, His Excellency Turki Alalshikh, has expressed his desire for the winners of both of these super-fights to face each other for the undisputed crown. He believes that the outcome of the Joshua vs Ngannou fight will be connected to the result of the Fury vs Usyk fight.

Excitement in the Boxing World

Promoter Frank Warren shares the sentiment of boxing fans and professionals alike, stating that everyone would love to see the winners of these fights compete against each other. This creates an exciting moment for the sport, as fighters now have a clear goal to aim for.

Joshua and Ngannou's Journey

Francis Ngannou, a former UFC champion, temporarily put his MMA career on hold to face Tyson Fury last October. Despite delivering an impressive performance and even knocking down Fury, Ngannou controversially lost the match on points. Now, he has the opportunity to challenge Joshua and potentially secure a shot at the undisputed title.

Anthony Joshua, on the other hand, had initially planned to fight Deontay Wilder, but after Wilder's defeat to Joseph Parker, Joshua shifted his focus towards Ngannou. With the undisputed heavyweight title within reach, Joshua is determined to fulfill his long-time dream of holding all four belts simultaneously.

The Road to Undisputed

Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, acknowledges the significance of this fight, as it brings them one step closer to achieving their goal of becoming undisputed champions. If Joshua or Ngannou can emerge victorious and then face the winner of the Fury vs Usyk match, they will have the opportunity to make history and solidify their reign as the ultimate heavyweight champion.
