Joshua, who was defeated last September, finds himself in deja vu when he meets Usyk in Saudi Arabia.

Ruiz will be the one man who is most closely watching, as he wants to renew his rivalry against AJ in a decision-making game.

ID Boxing was told by him: "Ofcourse, that's something you should have done. There should have been a third if he beat me there.

"I should have had another chance to get those belts back just as we gave him the chance with the rematch.

"Things happen. He lost again to Usyk, and the best man wins. There must be a trilogy.

"Even if he wins or loses, or if we lose or win, there must be a trilogy some day."

Ruiz, 32 fought Joshua in seven rounds in New York, before being defeated in the rerun.

As Usyk was warned, the Mexican-American blamed Usyk for his lack of commitment.

Ruiz stated: "If Usyk does not do the same as me (he can win), then I'm certain he won't. He's been undisputed in cruiserweight.

"I believe it could go either direction. Robert Garcia is Anthony Joshua's new trainer. He's trying to teach him how to do Mexican style aggressive punches and to be the first to attack him.

"But Usyk, an awkward fighter, is he an awkward lefty fighter? It's why we chose a lefty as a backup in case we need to go through Usyk.

"Sparring is a difficult sport, but we adapt to it. I think Anthony Joshua sparred a lot because that's what helps us. He can also adjust by having different styles.
