ANTHONY JOSHUA is seen planning his next career move while playing chess with a COMEBACK hint.
This is the first time AJ was photographed since Oleksandr Usyk's heartbreaking loss in Abu Dhabi.
Joshua relaxed by the pool side-by-side with JC Elite, his right-hand man. He hinted at a return.
After losing to Usyk for the second time, AJ delivered an emotional F-bomb-laden speech
The Brit, 32 years old, was defeated by the Ukrainian who won a split decision victory (113-115, 112-112 and 115-113) to retain the heavyweight title.
Southpaw Usyk beat him for the second time, leaving the 32 year-old's career in doubt.
However, JC Elite, Joshua's right-hand man and former unified heavyweight champion, has suggested that he will get back to it.
A trusted member of his training group shared an image of the couple playing chess at the pool in his latest Instagram post.
He wrote, "Rest, recuperate, regroup, then we move and do it again."
AJ can be seen in the photo relaxing, topless as the sun sets behind them.
The Watford fighter puts on sunglasses and focuses on the chessboard.
Joshua has previously stated that he would like to return to the ring sometime in November or December.
The shock announcement was made just hours after Usyk's loss.
Joshua lost his cool after the fight, throwing Usyk's titles out and then storming off.
After paying respects to the Ukrainian winner, he returned to the ring and dropped many F-bombs during an emotional speech.
Joshua answered further questions about his future and promised to return before 2022 ends.
After the loss, he declared: "I will be three-time world champion in heavyweight."
AJ said: "About whom I fight. "Come one, come all. I will fight anyone."
