Anthony Joshua is'more than capable' to win crunch Usyk Rematch if he believes in Saudi ring

ANTHONY JOSHUA is likely to settle the score with Oleksandr Uzyk if he puts his enormous self-belief into the ring.

In a high-stakes match in Saudi Arabia next month, the Watford warrior will seek revenge on the southpaw.

Tony Bellew has urged AJ not to lose heart in the high-stakes rematch.

Joshua, 32, has hired Robert Garcia, a 14-time world champion coach, to help him in the crunch clash. He had previously fired Robert McCracken, his long-standing trainer.

Tony Bellew, however, believes that the most difficult obstacle for Brits in the desert dust-up will be their mental side.

The WBC's former champion cruiserweight told iFL TV that he is capable of defeating any heavyweight in the globe.

"He is a man with all the right attributes and the physical ability to defeat anyone.

"He just needs to believe, understand, and be able to do that." He [has] the ability. He is the best, and he can beat anyone.

"He must be open to going to places he hasn't been to before. Although I don't believe belief is a thing, I know that he believes he will win.

"But it's carrying that to your ring. The same thought process, the same belief and subsequent throw with your plan.

It's one thing to say it, but it's quite another to prepare it. But it's an entirely different game trying it.

Joshua was defeated by Usyk last September in their Tottenham duel, suffering a narrow points loss to the undefeated Ukrainian.

The British boxing's Golden Boy is confident that he can tame The Cat the second time around, much like he did with Andy Ruiz Jr. in 2019.

He stated that Andy Ruiz helped people see the truth. However, you need to be strong and thick-skinned. We took our loss like a man.

"When I win, I keep it moving. I also thank everyone who has been the same in defeat. I knew I could return.

"Usyk busted my a***, and I must accept that defeat as a man."

"But, I hold myself responsible, I can admit when it is wrong and keep my head high when it is right.

"In September's fight, I was wrong and he right. I must reverse that on August 20.

"I have a second opportunity, I was in trouble as a kid and was given a second chance to find boxing.

"If you know me, you will know that I am the comeback king.

"You can make me feel down, but you cannot keep me down." Even through my most difficult times, I know that everything will work out in the end.
