ANTHONY JOSHUA must make a decision by WEDNESDAY if he is willing to accept a November Battle of Britain and Tyson Fury.
The 32-year-old, battered former world champion will need to end his mega-money deal to broadcasters DAZN in order to make the fight on Gypsy King's terms.
Joshua was offered a 40% split to face Fury via BT Sport
In a video posted on social media Monday, Fury said that he would give the opportunity to AJ.
WBC champion Fury (34), has offered a generous offer of 60-40% for the former WBA, IBF, and WBO boss. This is after consecutive losses to Oleksandr Uzyk.
Fury's backers BT Sport would allow AJ to prepare for the largest fight in British boxing history within 10 weeks. AJ had barely recovered from his August 20 fight with the 35-year old Ukrainian icon.
Fury is a winner. He either gets a big-money win against his rival when his confidence, bargaining power and bargaining ability are at their lowest point or AJ can call him a coward for refusing to accept the terms.
The deal was almost dead in Thames because of the lack of notice and exclusive broadcast rival deals.
Joshua believes that the offer was a bluff by the master manipulator because of the lack of notice and TV commitments. According to a source, this is Fury.
"If it were a fair offer, then AJ - who has PS150million in his bank account and has nothing to lose and is never more dangerous - might accept it.
"But a November fight against Usyk on Aug 20 is completely unrealistic."
Frank Warren, Fury's promoter, was planning a December 17 undisputed decision against Usyk. However, the Ukraine genius caused his delay with injuries.
He believes that the offer he made Tuesday morning was more than fair considering Joshua's current predicament at the wrong end on the heavyweight food chain.
He stated, "We have reached a stage in which we have initiated it and we have sent through the details of what we are willing to do to make it happen. Then we will see if anyone wants it."
It will be available in the UK in November. This is the perfect time for AJ to accept it. It would take him a while to get back in the world title scene, so he should grab it with both his hands.
Tyson would like to fight Usyk before March, but Usyk won't be ready until March.
"It is not rocket science. We have presented the pot, and they can choose whether they want it. We have allowed them in.
Eddie Hearn, AJ promoter, feels that the undefeated Morecambe mastermind may be playing tricks on fight fans. Christmas is the earliest time this cracker could be put together.
He responded, "Fury is outstanding at convincing the public absolute nonsense."
"Personally, it doesn't seem like he's serious about this.
"But, like I said, AJ wouldn't have any problem taking this fight in December."
