ANTHONY JOSHUA revealed that it would have taken 'hundreds and millions' to allow Tyson Fury face Oleksandr Uzyk.
After being outpointed in September, the two-time heavyweight champion of the world is now preparing to face the unbeaten Ukrainian.
Anthony Joshua revealed that it would have cost him a nine-figure sum to win a rematch against Oleksandr Uzyk
Joshua, 32 years old, plans to fight Usyk in May. Eddie Hearn, his promoter, has revealed that he would prefer the fight to be held in the UK.
The Cat is unsure when the rematch will be held after joining the fight for Ukraine's frontline and declaring that he is ready KILL Russian invaders.
Joshua expressed his support for Usyk, Ukraine and hoped that the two countries would find peace.
Fury also spoke out about the stepaside talks, in which Fury was desperate to see his compatriot give up his chance at winning his WBA back. Fury would like to fight Usyk in a undisputed dust-up, so he has WBO and IBF titles.
AJ and the Gypsy King couldn't agree on a deal. The latter was only interested in walking off if he got a nine-figure sum.
He said to iFL TV, "I asked them for a large stack of dough which they would not be able get."

"I am focused on the Oleksandr Uzyk rematch. If it were hundreds of millions, I would have said, "Yeah, let us look at it," but it wasn’t.
"I want to fight, and the money will come in if I win."
"Money is a sign of success, so I prefer to do the right thing in the ring and take revenge on the belts."
Joshua also said that he would like Fury to defeat Dillian Whyte in the WBC title clash at Wembley, April 23.
He said, "It's an opponent [for Fury], and it's good [title] defense against Dillian Whyte."
"Dillian Whyte should come in and look at Tyson Fury's reactions and actions, and then do the opposite. Perhaps you can work on the body and train yourself to go the distance.
"But I hope Dillian trains hard [and] doesn't underestimate Tyson. Dillian's first shot, so I expect he will be hungry.
This isn't his tenth fight for the title. You can have a few hiccups along the way. He is fighting for the title for the first time.
"I am rooting for Dillian, even if I hate him and want to smash him one day. Dillian, go ahead. I'm there for you every step of the way.
