Anthony Joshua says, "Made his family proud" after Tyson Fury's win over Deontay wilder

ANTHONY JOSHUA broke his silence after Tyson Fury defeated Deontay Wilder. He said that it was 'lovely to see the Gypsy King make his family proud.

AJ was humble about Fury defeating the Bronze Bomber, despite Oleksandr Usyk's defeat, which put a Battle of Britain between them in danger.

, Anthony Joshua finally spoke out.
Wilder was defeated by the Gypsy King in 11 rounds. AJ stated that it was wonderful to see Wilder making his family proud.

Fury retained his WBC Heavyweight Champion belt by knocking Wilder out on October 9, just two weeks after Joshua lost all of his to Usyk's on points.

The Brit praised Fury's efforts and said to iFL TV, "Fury did really well in his first title defense as a champion."

It shows how difficult it is to be champion at the moment.

"But he did very well in the storm, and SugarHill deserves an applause corner.

He was able to trust his mentor and gain wisdom, which made for a very successful corner setup.

"Well done to him WBC champion in the world and two-time champion. It is a lovely tribute for his family, especially John Fury, who is his greatest f ****** fan.

"It is so lovely to see him make his family proud, just as I do mine.

"And Sugar Hill Steward Andy Lee have done an excellent job with Tyson."

Joshua has activated his Usyk clause rematch clause, and Eddie Hearn targets a March or April fight.

While he will likely face Fury in a big-money fight shortly after, it is not clear if Wilder will ever fight again.

However, AJ believes that the American could still achieve great things if he uses Fury's second defeat as 'fuel.

Joshua said, "I would have iced half of the mother f ****** that he has in their fights."

"Then you have to face a few good fighters, which shows just how hard it can be at the top.

He is learning now because he realizes that's*** Fury' is a decent fighter and that if he uses his ability learn as fuel, he could get far in the next three to four years.

"I have learned from my experience, such as taking punches and trying not to be hit.

It just shows that up-and-coming fighters need to be protected, but not do any cherry picking with their opponents. Go out and prove your mettle.

"I would gladly take these fights with Wilder, and I want people know that I would fight any fighter in their prime or any time.

"Give me a mandatory, and I will fight anybody. I love the game and will fight any person."
