ANTHONY JOSHUA won't be leaving his rematch against Oleksandr Usyk.
Joshua was defeated by the Ukrainian slugger September 10th and had the right of an immediate rematch under his contract.
Eddie Hearn, promoter of Anthony Joshua
Tyson Fury wanted to fight Usyk for all the heavyweight marbles and a undisputed title fight.
Joshua and Hearn were open to a deal but the WBC has now ordered Fury to fight Whyte.
It seems to have ended all chances of unification, and all but guarantees that AJ will rematch Usyk next season.
Betfred was told by Promoter Hearn: "No, he's no. He has not been part of any conversations.
"I have had a few conversations about a concept in which AJ would fight Fury and Usyk and then AJ would fight the winner.
But we didn't include Dillian Whyte in that puzzle. The Fury versus Whyte fight is now in place. I'm glad that this concept has disappeared, as I didn’t want to have that conversation again with AJ.
"But it would have been a great conversation to have. He wants to win the heavyweight title again.
