The bitter British rivalry between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury has taken another unexpected turn, as Joshua has started working with Fury's former coach, Ben Davison.
Switching Sides
Usually trained by American mastermind Derrick James in Texas, Joshua has now linked up with Ben Davison when he's back in England.
Recognition and Approval
Ben Davison gained recognition for bringing Fury back to the ring after a three-year absence due to depression and substance abuse.
Promoter Eddie Hearn said, "Ben has been working behind the scenes tactically with AJ, he's a fantastic coach and I think AJ feels comfortable whilst he's in the UK working with him."

Continuing with James
Despite the collaboration with Davison, Derrick James remains Joshua's head coach and there are no plans to change that.
Sharpening His Tools
AJ is known for not staying out of camp for too long, and there's a chance he fights in December. These weeks with Davison are meant to sharpen his skills before heading back to Dallas with James.
Impressive Track Record
Under Davison's guidance, Fury went from 30 STONE to challenge for the world title in a draw against Deontay Wilder in 2018.
Fury remained unbeaten in his five bouts with Davison before switching to Sugarhill Steward, with whom he has won all five of his fights.

Current Ventures
Davison, now 27, currently works with two-time featherweight champion Leigh Wood and several other top prospects.
Meanwhile, Joshua, 34, is back in Dallas training with Derrick James ahead of his anticipated return, potentially in December or January.
