Floyd Mayweather, a BOXING legend, was an avid observer of Anthony Joshua’s recent workout in Dubai.
The Emirate is the former unified heavyweight champion who has made it his home away from home for the festive period.
Anthony Joshua has been training in Dubai over the past few weeks
He hasn't slowed down in his preparations for Oleksandr Usyk's potentially decisive rematch.
AJ is a hard worker at the gym during a time where most gym-goers indulge in snacking.
His latest training session was supervised by Mayweather, a former world champion at five weight and boxing hall-of-fame member.
Joshua posted a video of him hitting the aqua bag along with Mayweather to his Instagram Story. He was keeping an eye on his technique.
The clip was edited by him and reads: "The best to accomplish it and always helping out the next generation."
"Big Respect Champ @floydmayweather"
Many boxing fans commented on the pair's training together. One said, "Floyd has a better fighting IQ than anyone else in boxing" and another added: "Floyd can help AJ."
Another one said, "We love it to see."
"Haters will keep hating you from the sidelines, especially when you do so many things right."
Another said, "It's great that he is going to different trainers/fighters to improve his skills."
One commented: "This is fascinating. Joshua can use Floyd's advice to defeat Usyk.
Joshua, 32, was defeated by Usyk in Tottenham's tussle last September.
Mayweather said recently about the Ukranian's education of AJ: "That wasn't an upset."
"It was only that Anthony Joshua was on TV. Everyone saw him.
"Usyk was an incredible fighter and a gold medalist, but he was also behind the scenes.
"[They] are two guys with crazy amateur histories, and one guy not being seen is being seen while another guy is being observed, then we call that an upset.
"No, he was just working behind the scenes while another guy was in front of everyone.
"Finally they had to meet up, and Anthony Joshua came up short."
Joshua and Usyk will rekindle their rivalry next year. SunSport understands that the pair's rematch is tentatively scheduled for late March.
