Former footballer Ashley Cain, now reality star, has shared details about his intense training regimen in preparation for his debut boxing match.
Cain will fight eight times in honor of Azaylia's life, his eight-month-old daughter who tragically died last April.
Cain is currently undergoing a rigorous training regimen as he prepares to make his boxing debut
To commemorate the life of his daughter, he founded The Azaylia Foundation. This foundation provides support for children in the UK fighting cancer.
The charity will be acting as a benefactor for the UK vs USA Influencer Card at the SSE Arena on Saturday.
Cain will be making his debut against Andreas Eskander (US content creator), with KSI's brother Deji' also participating.
His fight against Eskander was the first of eight that Azaylia remembered.
Cain opened up about his intense training regimen for Saturday's fight that involves running, swimming and boxing, as well as gym work.
SPORTbible was told by he: "Everyday is slightly different. I ensure that I run at least five to six days per week.
"I swim four times a week, box three times a weeks, and do strength and conditioning twice a week."
On a typical day, he said: "Wake up, go swimming, and I'll probably swim 500m." After a recovery and stretch, I'll work on my strength and conditioning.
"Then, I'll go back to my room, have food, and then I'll box. Then, I'll come back from that, have food, and then I will run ten miles that night. So, it's non-stop."
Cain said, "I don’t have a rest because I have to wake up at 5.30am to fulfill my foundation commitments... I have work to do on that, and I also have to work to finish my personal projects."
"I don’t go to bed until twelve o’clock in the night so it's important that I get at least five hours of sleep each night."
DEJI PREDICTION
Cain also shared his thoughts about Deji's clash against American YouTuber Alex Wassabi, real name Alex Burris.
Deji, an Internet personality, lost a white-collar exhibition bout to Jake Paul (2018). Jake Paul is now unbeaten as a professional boxer.
Deji lost to TikToker Vinnie Hacker in a similar celebrity bout in June 2021.
Cain supports him and wants to win this time.
He answered the question "I'm going to fight with my friend from Team UK, Deji."
"It's time for him to show himself. It's his turn now, his time to win, and it's time for him to get that 'W'. And it's his chance to do it for Team UK."
