White stated that the former world champion would make $75,000 (PS55,000) if he returns to Dubai on Friday, November 26 against Johnny Muller.

Dana White claimed that a UFC preliminary fighter was being paid $750,000

Jack, 38, responded on Twitter: "I would not fight for that kind of money ever in all my life." These lies are not true.

"It won't even cover my training camp. Thanks for the promotion.

Jack is believed to be paid $750,000 (PS560,000), for his fight against Nathan Cleverly and James DeGale in 2017.

That's the sum UFC President White disclosed one of his unnamed prelim fights.

On the Pardon My Take podcast, he said: "You know this boy Badou Jack?" Right? Former world champion.

"He's fighting this Saturday, I suppose, in the Middle East and he's making $75,000.

"A guy who's not even, he was on the prelims has never been a champion world -- I won't name his name -- is making $750,000."

White has been criticized for his fighter pay. UFC champions are entitled to bonuses at pay-per-view.

Jack won the titles of super-middleweight or light-heavyweight. His last win was in November 2020. He is believed to have earned $500,000 (PS372,000).

Blake McKernan was defeated by Tyson, 34. Tyson also fought Roy Jones Jr., 52, in an exhibition bout.

Jack recently teamed up with Probellum, a new boxing promotion, to fight Muller as a cruiserweight.
