CANELO ALVAREZ's coach encouraged Anthony Joshua to use his physicality and "better combinations" when he rematches Oleksandr Usyk.
AJ was outclassed by Usyk over 12 rounds in September. However, it raised eyebrows when he decided to box the skilled southpaw.
Oleksandr Usyk will face Anthony Joshua in a rematch later in the year
Joshua spent months reviewing his coaching staff after the loss. There are rumors that he is searching for a new trainer.
In October, he spent time in San Diego with Canelo as well as Eddy Reynoso, the Mexican cornerman.
Reynoso, a non-native speaker of English, has since revealed a way to guide Joshua (32), into his rematch against Usyk (34).
The trainer has already created a blueprint for 6ft 6in and 17st 2lb AJ.
Fight Hub TV's Reynoso said: "Work your distance more, make better combinations.
"He is blessed with many good qualities, physical traits, but he doesn’t use them."

Joshua won Olympic gold as well as unified world titles under Rob McCracken, his head coach.
AJ's promoter Eddie Hearn said that now is the right time to make changes, despite talks with Canelo and his team.
Reynoso stated: "I would love work with Joshua. Why not? I have a job to train fighters, and I will try my best to make it work.
"It's all about the timing of the next fight. We spoke with Eddie Hearn's management, and we will watch what happens."
