Fight Hub TV's Reynoso said that a Charlo fight would be more media-friendly.

He wants to see the four-division king return to Mexico, and to the Azteca Stadium for Mexico's national team of 87,00+ seats.
Reynoso stated that they are planning to fight in September or May in the US, and in Mexico's last battle in Mexico.

Charlo, 31 years old, is currently the WBC middleweight title holder, but he would need to jump a division in order to compete for Canelo’s belts.
Reynoso stated that Canelo has reached a level where he is capable of fighting with anyone. The difference in weight will be what I believe, and that is something we need to be aware of.
"He fights in weight classes where it feels strong, and 168 where it feels strong.
Golovkin, 39 years old, was disappointed to leave 2017 with a draw against Canelo (31), before losing the rematch one year later.
He is now at middleweight, but he would need to move up to super-middle if he wants to complete a trilogy against his great rival.
Reynoso said, "Let's hope something happens in May or September."
"Truth be told, Golovkin recently raised his hand to fight against Canelo. There is intent to create a trilogy.
"Yeah, 168. He can go up if [Golovkin] wishes. Saul can't go down. He cannot make 160.
"We will be working with the promoter who has the best fighters, best fights for us. Let's see if we can have a great fight with."
