CHRIS EUBANK JR will be a blockbuster domestic movie in December, with Billy Joe Saunders as the main targets and Liam Willaims as the secondary.
A super-fight against Gennady Gorlovkin, 39 is off the table until the summer. Ryota Murata, 35, from Japan, will be fighting the Kazakh in a unification.
In 2014, Chris Eubank Jr. was defeated by Billy Joe Saunders
On Saturday, middleweight Eubank Jr will return to the ring and will be the new face Sky Sports Boxing. He will fight Sven Elbir in a tune up bout.
Kalle Sauerland, the promoter, promised that a huge pay-per view worthy fight would follow before the year is out, if there are any slip-ups.
SunSport was informed by Sauerland that Golovkin is not a possibility. Golovkin is now obligated to fight Murata.
"That fight is ongoing, and we promised we would revisit it after he's finished. This is going to be an important summer fight for next year.
"We are looking at domestic fights. Liam Williams is on the list, Billy Joe's on that list."
Eubank Jr., 32, was bitterly defeated by Saunders (also 32), on a split-decision made in 2014.
They were not able to settle their scores and the result has only intensified their rivalry, fuelling their desire for a rematch.
Saunders said he was considering retiring after defeat to Canelo, 31 in May. He is believed to have suffered four facial fractures.
Only a rematch against Eubank Jr. and a purse in excess of PS5million would stop the former two-weight champion from hanging up his gloves.
Sauerland, the promoter of Sky Sports, remains positive that a deal will be reached in the near future, despite Saunders' fight on DAZN or Eubank Jr.
He stated, "I'm certain it will happen. Billy Joe stated that he was contemplating his future but now wants to fight him.
"Before it was: 'OK, is that he going to fight again?" He's made a lot, so you wouldn't have any concerns about him retiring.
"But he stated he wanted that fight, and of course we're going make that fight happen."
Williams, 29 years old, who lost to Demetrius Andrade, WBO champ, in April, has aggressively called Eubank Jr. in what promises to be an all out war.
It was 33-year-old Andrade who was to face the legend Jr.
This was until Sebastian, his brother, tragically died in July at the young age of 29 in Dubai.
Eubank Jr.'s challenge for the world title was ended in heartbreak. Plans had to be dramatically changed.
The Brit has made a vow to carry on his brother's legacy and will continue to fight against Elbir.
Sauerland stated that he has an opponent outside the ring that he must deal with. This is his personal situation going into this fight, and we knew that.
"We decided to take a slightly different route. The Andrade fight was over and it is now set up, more or less, for September.
"We decided to alter the plans and it was very important. I believe Jr should get in the Ring, after what he has been through, and get it over with.
"Then, you can move on to the next stage if everything goes well on October 2.
