The undisputed title bout for middleweight has been delayed twice in July, and is now scheduled for September.

Shields has already been offered a fight in MMA with the Professional Fighters League for November.

With a full schedule, she is determined to settle the matter with Marshall immediately after the Brit has recovered from her arm injury.

SunSport spoke with Shields: "Now, we're fighting September, but fighting boxing in a big fight like this for undisputed champion, it makes it difficult for us to train properly for MMA bouts.

They talk about her knockout power. She's this, she is that. All that talk about her knockout power is a lie.

"I'm going be the winner, she's going to hurt me, and after the fight, they won’t mention me or her in the same sentence because I’m levels above her."
