Conor Benn will be fought by Chris Eubank Jr on October 8.

Because of their differences in size, the born rivals agreed to meet at different weights.

Eubank Jr., 32, will be lowering his 160lb middleweight weight, while Benn, 25 jumps 10lb above his usual welterweight limit.

Tony Sims, his coach, said that he wanted the unbeaten competitor to reach 2lb less than the maximum catchweight.

SunSport spoke with Sims: "You'd love to have done it at number 154 in an idyllic world, but there is no such thing as an idyllic world."

"Eubank's people brought 157 to us, and I summarized it to say that he has to bring down to 157.

Conor has to be at least 157, but that's just the beginning. He won't likely even reach 157 at the weigh-in, he'll likely be 155.

"So, the fight evens out slightly like that."

Eubank, who has fought as high as 168lb super-middleweight, is going to use every ounce of his strength.

Sims would prefer Benn to be focused on his lightning speed, and movement.

He stated that he believed at 155 his speed and agility would be a factor, especially in this fight.

"I want him bang on the cash and I feel that if he brings in too much it will slow him down.

"So, 155 is what I consider a healthy weight for him. He still has to work to drop to 155, but he is probably at 170 right now.

The fight between the brothers will continue for almost 30 years after their fathers' 1993 rematch.

Three years ago, Eubank won a bloody affair but the rematch ended up in a controversial draw.

Sims was Benn's sparring partner at the time, and they have remained close ever after.

He said, "Nigel has been a friend of mine for a long while since they days.

"We used to go out together and clubbing, not just training together.

"He's been a close friend for many years and put me in charge his son. I feel that I did a good job taking care of him.

"And if Conor couldn't win this fight, I wouldn’t be putting him there."

Sims argued that the right time was right to fight Eubank Jr., who could be at the backend his career.

He stated that he didn't believe Chris Eubank Jr was the same fighter as he was four- or five years ago.

"I don't believe he's there and Conor is coming into his prime in the next year or so, so it's a good fight that Conor should take at this stage of his career.

"And it's hard to lose financially.

"The British public wants to see this fight, and you wouldn’t want it to end Chris Eubank Jr’s career."

"He's nearing 33 so it's not a good idea to have this fight right at the end. This is the right moment to fight.
