Jake Paul is so eager to fight McGregor that he has even offered to do it in the MMA cage. McGregor, who has been out of action since July 2021 due to a leg injury, is currently working towards his UFC return.

McGregor's manager, Audi Attar, is open to the possibility of a blockbuster fight with Paul after McGregor makes his comeback. Attar emphasized that anything is possible and that it's all about how things line up in combat sports.

This year, Paul signed with the Professional Fighters League, a rival promotion to the UFC. He is set to make his MMA debut with the league. However, before that, Paul will face boxer Andre August on Friday, December 15 in Florida.

After Paul's victory over ex-UFC star Nate Diaz in August, McGregor publicly criticized the performance, calling it "abysmal" and "embarrassing." Paul, on the other hand, expressed his desire to face more professional boxers and even mentioned wanting to fight Canelo Alvarez.
