TONY BELLEW responded to Jake Paul's unorthodox New Year's resolutions with a fiery statement.
Paul's undefeated streak has grown to five fights since he switched from YouTube to boxing to 2020, although he has not yet faced a professional boxer.
The Problem Child is excited about what 2022 holds for him, and Floyd Mayweather seems to be his target as he mocked him via social media.
The 24-year old revealed his four goals for the year, including one to buy Mayweather Promotions in order to "save them" from bankruptcy.
Paul tweeted: "Some people ask about my 2022 goals.
"Here they come:
"1. Save your Mayweather Promotions from Bankruptcy by buying Mayweather Promotions
"2. Floyd Mayweather's stylist.
"3. Oprah [Winfrey] takes a selfie
"4. "2. Get to the chiropractor and get your body back to normal after you have taken up boxing.
The fourth point angered Bellew, a legendary boxer who demanded that Paul "rephrase it".
The Bomber claimed that the American claim was totally inaccurate, as he could not carry the jockstrap of a true boxer.
Bellew replied: "You couldn’t carry the jockstrap a proper BOXER boy. Point 4 should be rephrased
British boxing star Jake has been critical about Logan Paul and Jake's involvement in boxing.
The 39-year old bruiser said that their introduction was "wrong" and predicted that someone could get seriously hurt.
Bellew stated previously that it was wrong for them to claim they are fighters.
"I'm fine with you making a few dollars, but this is acceptable when everyone's making a few bucks and everybody's making some money."
"But, understand that someone is going to get hurt doing this. Then it's gonna be back on boxing.
Boxing is dangerous and brutal work, so you should take it seriously.
"Do not be a fool and pretend that this is showbusiness. It's lights, cameras, lights, fun, and games.
"It's not funny to be in the ring together with another man who wants your neck off."
"I've been there. I've done that. You can bet someone will get hurt during one of these fights, and then it'll all rain down.
"That's when boxing is called a joke of sport. 'This disgrace, that is wrong. Stop it now."
