Dana White Slams Misfits Boxing's Claim of Over a Million Pay-Per-View Buys

UFC President Calls Out Rumored Numbers

Dana White, the president of UFC, has strongly criticized Misfits Boxing's assertion that their PRIME card generated over a million pay-per-view buys. Misfits Boxing, founded by internet sensation KSI, organized a highly anticipated event in Manchester in October. The card featured KSI facing off against Tommy Fury, and Logan Paul in a co-main event against Dillon Danis, reportedly drawing 1.4 million pay-per-view purchases. However, White has emphatically dismissed this number as false.

"They're Lying Motherf*****s"

White expressed his skepticism during an interview with the Nelk Boys, stating, "I haven't heard about anybody selling a lot of pay-per-views lately. Let me tell you how hard it is to sell 1.3 million pay-per-view buys. And if you did sell 1.3 million, if you sold 700,000 pay-per-view buys, they'd be putting on fights 10 times a year. When you hear those kinds of numbers fly around the pay-per-view world, they're lying motherf*****s. Don't ever believe that s**t."

The Rise of Influencer Boxing

Despite the lack of traditional boxing skill and technique, the influencer boxing scene has become wildly popular among Generation Z. This trend has left White, along with many others, perplexed as to its appeal.

Misfits Boxing Would Be Doing Cards Every Week

White further emphasized his disbelief, stating, "Anybody who's been on any of these f***ing horrible boxing shows...if you come out and you say you did 1.3 million pay-per-view buys on your event, you're lying through your f***ing teeth. The amount of money you'd f***ing make, they'd be doing pay-per-views all the f***ing time. Let me tell you what, every pay-per-view distributor out there would want them, and Showtime wouldn't have gone out of business."

Manager Fires Back

KSI's manager and Misfits co-president, Mams Taylor, wasted no time responding to White's comments. On X, Taylor wrote, "I know all the REAL numbers for every event. Don't play w[ith] me or I'll go Fofty on EVERYONE!!"
