SunSport has revealed that the former WBC champion is on track to win his comeback fight.

Ex-sparring partner at Wilder's Haye believes it is exactly what the blue division needs.

Fight Hub TV interviewed him: "We need big characters and big punchers, big personalities. That's what heavyweight boxing requires."

"It's missing him since he's gone. These young fighters are coming through.

"Joyce Dubois and Hrgovic are just a few of the names that have risen to the top in their respective fields. Let's have some fun. Let's get busy.

Wilder, 36 years old, will face Robert Helenius (38), on October 15, in New York.

After their 2018 draw, the Bronze Bomber suffered three consecutive stoppage losses to Fury, 33.

Wilder thrashed Fury twice that day, before scoring two knockdowns during their recent trio.

Haye, 41 years old, believes his former training partner is the only one capable of defeating Fury.

He stated, "I just rewatched three fights with Tyson Fury, the number one heavyweight in the world.

He is probably the closest man to beating him. He almost knocked him out a few times, and he left him severely hurt.
