DEREK CHISORA believes that Anthony Joshua would prefer to be knocked out of the game by Oleksander Usyk, rather than lose on points.

AJ was beaten by Usyk in 12 rounds last September. The pair will now rematch the match on August 20th in Saudi Arabia.

Chisora also urged his Finchley Amateur Boxing colleague to get all of his chips in, even if it means a loss.

Chisora, 37 years old, said to iFL TV that AJ could be knocked unconscious.

"If he loses points, it's bad news for him. He'll be kicking himself for 20 years if he loses points.

"If he is knocked out, then he will be knocked out." If you are knocked out in round five, you can't do much.

Chisora was defeated by Usyk in 2020 and gives Usyk only eight rounds to KO AJ.

He believes that Joshua, 32 years old, is better suited for the time frame.

Chisora said: "In boxing if you get knocked down it's better for you to go out but [that's] how Usyk won't win].

"Usyk will only knock out AJ in the final rounds, but he won’t knock him out in the first eight." AJ will knock him out."

Chisora will be making his return to London's O2 Arena on July 9, rematching Kubrat pulev.

Pulev, 41 years old, beat the Londoner via split-decision in 2016. He is now seeking revenge.

Eddie Hearn, promoter of Joshua's second album with Usyk (35), has yet to announce the deal. SunSport reported that a deal had been made.
