DILLIAN WHYTE will not attend today's press conference to launch tickets with WBC champ Tyson Fury. He claims he didn't receive an invitation.
The 33-year old interim champ will not leave his exhausting Portugal training camp to travel to Wembley, where the showdown is scheduled for April 23.
Dillian Whyte won't be attending today's press conference regarding the last-minute ticket launch
His lawyer explained that his silence during the big fight was in direct response to Frank Warren's treatment. Warren won the PS30million purse and the right to hold it.
Jeffrey Benz, a lawyer and business advisor, told SunSport that although David Whyte would be more than happy to attend the ticket-launch event, Frank Warren's Queensberry Promotions was unable to agree on his most basic requirements. This is normal for boxing.
"But they didn’t even give us notice when and where this one-sided shindig would take place. It is truly amazing.
"We are dealing here with dinosaurs. They offered $41m to fight, but they are scattered all over the place. They don't even meet Dillian's requirements, which are completely normal and not unusual.
Benz, Team Whyte's advisor, outlined the reasons why Sky Sports PPV stars won't pose for photos or play basketball.

"Queensberry has not offered him a complimentary ticket allocation as it is standard - not even one for his mother – or any chance to purchase any tickets for his extended family, friends, or extended team.
"They will not advise Fury if and to what degree she is subject to anti doping testing by UKAD, or other bodies in much the same manner that Dillian is routinely tested by VADA and UKAD.
"They have not yet begun enhanced VADA testing, as Dillian requested in his signed contract more than a week ago.
"They used artwork with Dillian's photo and didn’t ask for his permission. They also didn’t feature him with his WBC world champion belt accurately.
"And, oddly, they won’t even tell him how big the ring he will be competing with."
The promotion is not getting the massive boost Whyte could bring, considering his track record in big fight build-ups.
Anthony Joshua was dragged by the Brixton Ace into a thrilling battle of expert mind games in 2015. Derek Chisora then launched a table at his head.
Benz stated that the silent Body Snatcher is afraid Whyte will withdraw from the fight. He said: "Dillian is chomping for the fight against Fury, even if Fury doesn’t want to fight him. He fears that he’ll pull out late in a day with a lame excuse such as a broken fingernail, or a nettle sting, given his track record.

"Dillian is determined to fight in spite of his illegally low split in the purse bid of the WBC. He is appealing the decision of the Court of Arbitration for Sport. This is the world's leading arbitration body for sports-related disputes, based in Switzerland.
"Ask yourself why he is going to disrupt his camp and risk travel complications when he has been the number 1 challenger since 2017, and waited longer in the history the sport for his full title fight?
"With just seven-and-a half weeks until the fight, it is not too far off. Dillian should not interrupt his camp for a few days to launch a ticket event. Especially when Tyson Fury, who is the self-proclaimed greatest heavyweight ever, is pushing the event.
"No doubt, it sells in seconds and that must explain why they can't even spare one ticket for Dillian’s mum.
"But, everything is becoming an obstacle. Everything is a diversion tactic, or a stumblingblock, even the most basic of things. They are trying to nickel-and-dim us on everything because there is so much doubt and lack of faith in so many things. Fans should ask the question: Why did they put up such a large sum, but are trying to make the ticket launch event a huge success?
"Dillian is disappointed, but he hasn't been treated professionally. People should be more concerned about the promoters taking the fight seriously and providing a fan experience that fee-paying fans deserve."
He said, "It's naive of the promoters to not make real efforts to include Dillian fully into the build-up."
"Dillian is clearly disappointed and will concentrate his energies on fight day.
"But, if the promotion fails, I don’t want to listen to any whinging from Fury or Warren camps because they are over 21. They have been warned that you cannot make as much noise clapping only with one hand."
