Dillian Whyte tells Fury that he had ordered doctors to inject his shoulder in morphine.
Dillian Whyte wanted to fight Otto Wallin.

The 33-year-old Whyte was sent to fight Wallin, before finally being allowed to compete for WBC gold against Tyson Fury.

The Body Snatcher will now take the frustrations of the Swede and give him a title shot.

Whyte addressed claims that his injury occurred at a convenient time and said: "We have to show some respect for my name. Listen, I won't stop fighting anyone.

"I'm always ready to fight and willing to go, but my injury prevented me from making the fight."

He then spoke out about what he was willing to do to get his fight against Wallin on. "I begged my teammates to put some morphine into my shoulder to numb for three to four rounds, and then go in there to give it hell.

"But they said, "Don't be stupid. This isn't the last fight. It's not like you have 40 fights left and only one fight in your career.

"So they're the brains and I'm a muscleman. I must listen to them because they have guided me well and taken no wrong turns in my career.

"Let's face it. Which fighter do you want me to fight? Tyson Fury or Otto Wallin. Let's go baby!

When in command of the belt, Whyte has been known to take risks in order to win.

After defeating Oscar Rivas in 2019, he won the WBC interim title for heavyweight. He was then defeated by Mariusz Wach in Diriyah in Saudi Arabia later in that year.

Alexander Povetkin defeated Whyte in August of last year. He was then defeated again by Whyte in March.

After the WBC's shoulder issue was resolved, Fury is now scheduled to be ordered to fight Fury.
