Tyson Fury says he will be retiring after fighting Dillian Whyte

Fury had made a vow to defeat mandatory challenger Whyte, before adding the four undisputed belts he had won to his trophy collection.

Fury, 33 years old, quickly backedtracked and said he would retire after his British return.

Hearn isn't the first to mention retirement.

He stated, "If Tyson Fury believes anything, you are absolutely insane."

Fury suggested that he would hang up his gloves after his epic trilogy fight with Deontay wilder (36), in October. Wilder won round 11.

The unbeaten WBC champion had claimed that he would continue boxing until 40 like his old rival Wladimir Klitschko (now 45).

"This is my retirement fight. 100,000 people attend Wembley for all British world titles fight.

"Return of Mack after four years in the UK. This is it. You are on top. It's time to retire on top.

"Two-time world heavyweight champion, and I'll be having made eight defenses of the lineal title.

"Never lose a fight. To be the second heavyweight to go down in history and retire unbeaten. Rocky Marciano and me.
