ANTHONY JOSHUA could announce his potentially do-or die rematch against Oleksandr Usyk "next week".
Joshua's second battle with the undefeated Ukrainian was originally scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia, July 23, but it has been canceled due to problems with the broadcasting rights.
Anthony Joshua was scheduled to face Oleksandr Usyk in a rematch on July 23
The new date for the Saudi showdown is August 13, according to Eddie Hearn, and Eddie hopes to announce it soon.
Matchroom Boxing stated to iFL TV, "I'm very certain you'll get news next week. It's been a long journey, I know.
"It's huge, but everyone is onboard and hopefully we can secure a date."
Joshua and Usyk, who are 32 and 35 respectively, have continued to work hard in the gym despite the delay in their rematch.

Hearn stated that July 23 was always the working date. Never signed, never agreed to but a working date.
"And then you reach a stage, where that date is seven week out on Saturday, and the guys are ready for fight.
"But, you're referring to one of the most important fights in the globe, media tours, and you're referring to TV rights getting signed, sponsorships.
"And it would make sense and the site might feel that way too. Give yourself two to three weeks to allow this to happen.

Joshua has asked Robert Garcia, world champion coach, to help him in his high-stakes match with Usyk. Usyk turned Joshua over last September in their Tottenham tussle.
The former heavyweight champion is confident that the veteran trainer, who has taken over from Rob McCracken, will be a valuable asset.
He said to iFL TV, "The main point is: A happy fighter can be a dangerous fighter. I'm happy.
"I'm good, happy, and I'm about start training now.
"Garcia is actually here, we are just working on some things. My opinion is that it's not about changing your style.

Garcia might prefer to crouch to 5'0 and bob, weave, but I am a 6'6" heavyweight.
"So it's not about the style. It's about his experience at championship level and what he knows at camp; that's priceless to me."
