EDDIE HEARN believes Tyson Fury's February homecoming plans won't materialize.
The Gypsy King plans to defend his heavyweight title in just over two months, but is currently without an opponent.
Tyson Fury will defend his WBC heavyweight title before the end of February
Dillian Whyte, a fellow Brit, was due to face the WBC king. However, he has become embroiled in an arbitration matter with the governing body.
Hearn, Matchroom Boxing's chief, believes that this will thwart Fury's plans. He told iFL TV: "I don’t believe he fights February.
"Because he has a little bit of man flu as he states, and we'll be [in] December next year.
"I believe March is realistic and, hopefully, it will be Dilian Whyte."
Whyte, a Brixton banger and Fury's mandatory, has taken legal action against WBC to get his long-awaited green belt.
Hearn said, "That's why it's been done. Because if he didn't leave it to the WBC (which he did), he wouldn't be able to get the results he deserves.

"So that's the reason he took this path.
"And when this ruling comes out, it will be much more solid, clear, and, yeah. favourable," we anticipate.
"So that's why the process works."
Hearn does not expect that the ongoing legal proceedings will have any impact on Whyte's bid for a world title.
He replied, "No, I don’t believe so. It's not a timing issue, and hopefully there will be a ruling in due course.
Fury doesn't care about Whyte's fight with the WBC, and is solely focused on getting back into the ring.
He said to iFL TV, "I thought that I was going fight Dillian Whyte, but I don’t know what he is doing in his private life with WBC.
"He has a court matter going on and it's kinda s *****, because I know how long arbitrations can take because my own with Deontay wilder took 18 months.
"I pray he doesn't get caught in the long grass, and I hope he doesn't get force into another fight as a voluntary defense.
"But I don’t care, they are all just work outs for me. I will destroy them all as I have done every day of my life.
"It doesn't matter if it's Dillian Whyte or Dillian Blue.
"I don't want to wait around for others, I will fight again in February, or early March if necessary, to defend my WBC heavyweight title."
