Eddie Hearn says Anthony Joshua is 'SULKING" over Oleksandr Uzyk's defeat. He should also abandon the 'humbled in defeat' attitude.

PROMOTER Eddie Hearn revealed that Anthony Joshua is feeling'sulking after his defeat to Oleksandr Uzyk in unanimous points.

AJ, 31 years old, lost his world heavyweight belts in September to the undefeated Ukrainian (34), and Hearn wants to get them back.

Heard said to talkSPORT, "I think AJ feels humble in defeat. He feels a responsibility for acting like that."

It couldn't be further from the truth. In fact, I would like him to lose some humility sometimes.

"But he is sulking, that is the truth. I've had the pleasure of being with him several times, and he is fixated on his mistakes.

"He is frustrated, he is disappointed, and he is devastated. He can only think of ways to improve.

Joshua was outclassed in the first round by Usyk. He will need to improve if he wants to regain his belts during the rematch in early 2022.

Tyson Fury (33), has offered to train AJ FREEahead the second fight. Fury's promoter Frank Warren believes the Brit will lose AGAIN.

Ricky Hatton also expressed doubts regarding Joshua's ability stop Usyk, and Mike Tyson said he was shocked at how humble AJ was after defeat.

Hearn is confident that his client will win. He said, "He got his gameplan wrong. He didn't box well, was his preparation sufficient?

"You have to remember Usyk, he was brilliant. People now believe that Usyk is the pound-for–pound No 1; it's either Usyk, or Canelo.

"So, you just lost a decision on a pound for pound great.

"Don't be discouraged, but the frustrating part is that we know he can do better.

"And the rematch he will enter is a real difficult fight, but he wouldn’t want it any other.

"AJ is obsessed with looking at greats from the past. They've all been defeated and all have come back.

"He is a two-time heavyweight champion and now it looks like he will be a three-match.

"He deserves to be commended for accepting the challenge from Usyk, as no one wants to fight him, but he believed that he could defeat him."
