ANTHONY JOSHUA doesn't plan to step aside and allow Tyson Fury face Oleksandr Uzyk.
Joshua, 32, suggested last week that Joshua would be open to allowing WBC Gypsy King to fight him in an undisputed heavyweight title bout next year.
In September, Anthony Joshua lost a unanimous decision to Oleksandr Uzyk
Eddie Hearn, the promoter insists that the former champion in unified heavyweight is still determined to settle the score with the smooth southpaw.
Matchroom Boxing's chief stated that he doesn't believe it's worth considering.
"I believe that if someone made an offer to Joshua, it would be difficult not to discuss Joshua leaving.
"At this moment, the focus is on the fight rematch. Anthony Joshua would like to fight Oleksandr Uzyk.
That is all that matters until that happens.
"I have not seen the interview but he said that he would like to rematch Oleksandr Uzyk."
Joshua lost by a narrow margin to the undefeated Ukrainian during their September showdown at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
He still feels heavy from the loss, which ended a multimillion-pound Battle of Britain and Fury.
He said to iFL TV, "A lot of the times I wake up in morning and the fight is on my mind. You can't sleep after a fight.
"You can sleep on it after a fight, and then you wake up on the subject. I'm doing the right thing by using it as fuel for the next day.
It is something I think about a lot, not only on a physical level but also up here. It is something I think about a lot.
"That one made my think a lot. I could go on, but I don't care.
"I don’t believe it’s a loss. I care deeply."
Joshua is determined to exact revenge on the undisputed champion cruiserweight, saying, "I'm done f***ing losing, and I'm done trying to learn sweet science."
"This is war, so the referee could be thrown to the ground in the next fight.
"It's just war, it's annoying.
"It's so hot that I can't even talk about it. It's that passion to win."
