Amazingly, Spence survived and returned to boxing a year later.

The unbeaten Texan is still a victim of the crash emotionally, as he revealed that he has post-traumatic stress disorder.

Spence, 32, stated on The Good Fight With Kate Abdo that he would like different flashes when a car ran into him.

It was when I was driving down the street, at a red light, or any other type of traffic.

"PTSD is definitely real because I had flashes about getting into accidents all the time. They still happen to me sometimes while I drive.

Spence, on the advice his manager and mother, visited a psychiatrist for one session.

He went on to disclose a second accident just months later, which saw his insurance company abandon him.

Spence stated that he was in a second accident three months following his accident. Someone hit me from behind.

It shook me up a bit, but it's hard to get back to me. I am always calm and collected. I was kicked out by my insurance company.

"I was in G-Wagon so they were like, "He messed up Ferrari, now a GWagon 4x4."

They were sold for $600,000 in just five/six month. They paid me for both cars outright."

Spence defeated Danny Garcia, 34-year-old ex-champ, in his December 2020 return bout. He also secured a fight with Manny Pacquiao (43).

However, he suffered an eye injury while sparring and was forced to quit. Yordenis Ugas (35), replaced him and beat PacMan.

Spence will defend his WBC, IBF and IBF titles in an unification with Ugas' WBA version in Dallas this Saturday.
