EVANDER HOLYFIELD says he's still open to a three-fight with Mike Tyson, despite losing to Vitor Belfort in the first round.
Within three minutes of his return, the 58-year old was stopped in the ring. One fan called it 'the saddest incident I have ever witnessed in a boxing match'.
Hoyfield's return from the ring was not as planned
Holyfield insists that he will still fight Mike Tyson, even though he lost to Belfort in a humiliating loss, 24 years after their first bout.
Holyfield, speaking after his defeat at Belfort, said, "The guy pushed, the man is strong."
"But I wasn’t hurt. I was not hurt by the shot. He shot me and I was off balance. I am not hurt. It's kinda sad.
"I believe it was a bad decision, he shouldn’t have stopped fighting that fast."
He replied, "Of course I would."
Holyfield defeated Tyson twice in 1990 and won both times.

He defeated him again seven years later, though in more controversial circumstances.
Tyson famously bit Holyfield's ears, leading to a third round disqualification.
Tyson, a former heavyweight champion, recently returned to boxing in a fight against Roy Jones Jr.
Although the bout was a draw, many were impressed by Tyson's skills.
