Fears Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul won't be licensed to fight in Las Vegas before sensational PS36m Boxing Showdown

According to Michael Bisping, an ex-UFC star, a fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson will not be licensed in Las Vegas.

SunSport announced earlier this week that YouTube star and former heavyweight champion are in advanced talks to arrange a PS36million clash.

Tyson later denied that he was close to a deal, tweeting that it was "new to me" and that Paul hadn't mentioned a possible fight with him.

Bisping is certain that even if an agreement was reached, it won't be approved to take place at Las Vegas - a city known for hosting the biggest boxing showsdowns.

On his YouTube channel, he stated that "The fight against Mike Tyson, there is a good possibility that it won't get licensed."

"When Mike Tyson returned to fight Roy Jones Jr., I believe it was in Florida. They couldn't get licensed here in Las Vegas.

"Las Vegas is known as the fight capital of the globe, and the Nevada State Athletic Commissions is one of the most difficult to get licensed by.

Bisping said, "Is that gonna happen?" Mike Tyson says the answer is no.

"I would like to see Paul fight Tommy Fury. Similar size, age, and experience."

Since Tyson's appearance on Iron Mike’s podcast "Hot Boxin" last year, Jake and Tyson have been friends.

Jake was even called the GOAT by the boxing legend because he shared the same birthday as Muhammad Ali and Tyson's legendary boxing coach Cus D’Amato.

Paul is currently a professional boxer at 5-0.

He started by defeating YouTuber AnEsonGib, and then beat Nate Robinson, a basketball player. After that, he knocked out Ben Askren, an MMA star.

Paul took on Tyron Woodley, a former UFC Welterweight Champion. He was defeated by Paul via split decision.

The Brit was supposed to then face Tyson Fury’s brother Tommy in December, but he pulled out of injury and illness.

Woodley was called in to replace Paul in a rematch. The internet sensation won the match by knockout.

In November 2020, Tyson fought Roy Jones Jr. in an eight-round bout.

He also stated that he plans to continue the sport after the contest.
