Floyd Mayweather claims Don More, an ex-sparring partner, will actually 'come and fight' in an exhibition bout at Logan Paul

FLOYD MAYWEATHER insists that Don Moore, his opponent for the upcoming fight, will "come to fight" - unlike Logan Paul.

Next month, the former world champion at five weight will reclaim his gloves for an exhibition bout of eight rounds with his sparring partner.

Mayweather, 45 years old, was last seen in the ring last June during a lucrative exhibition with Paul, a YouTuber and boxer.

Surprisingly, the bout went all the way. Mayweather believes this was due to Paul's inability to win.

He stated, "Don't be afraid to fight."

"It's a little bit different from the last fight. Don will fight, and may the greatest man win.

MOORE TO COME

Mayweather vs Moore CONFIRMED as boxing legend, 45, returns to Dubai helipad

'A PROBLEM'

Fury said he would be foolish to dismiss Whyte’s chances at the Wembley grudge match.

"Logan Paul, at Hard Rock Stadium, talked a good game but didn’t come to fight.

"So he's coming, I'm coming. It's going be intense. Eight rounds from the start to the finish.

Moore and Mayweather have been training together for years but Mayweather insists that their clash will not be glorified sparring matches.

He stated, "I'm pretty certain the first round will be a feel out round.

It doesn't have to feel like a fight. Don is a friend of mine and I am his best friend.

"But, we don't really know each other when our gloves are smaller and we're in the light.

"Because we're in the Gym, we can work however we want to work.

"But when it is for the people, they gotta give them something to watch."

Moore, like Mayweather, ended his career with an impeccable record. He retired with a perfect 18-1 resume.

Mayweather's most recent exhibition will be held atop Burj Khalifa, Dubai. The bout will be staged from the iconic building's helicopter pad.

The boxing legend was in negotiations to participate in a second exhibition against Dubai's rich child Money Kicks.

The shock showdown that was set to take place on the top of the world's tallest building collapsed weeks prior to fight night.
