Paul made headlines after nicking the American legend’s hat, which then led to a massive brawl.
Mayweather was able to land a punch, but security kept him back as he chased the famous prankster furiously.
Claressa Shields, women's champion, brought up the incident while FaceTiming Mayweather followed her at ringside war of words with Savannah Marshall.
Shileds, 26 years old, said to Mayweather, "And you know Michigan, because you slapped Jake Paul?"
He quickly responded, "I was going to kill him."
Shields, who was referring to her recent spat against Marshall, 30, said: "I know, and I had exactly the same thing in myself.

Logan, 26, defeated Mayweather, 44. They fought eight rounds without scoring any knockouts and took Mayweather to the finish.
Logan claims he wasn't paid fully for the fight. He refused to rematch in Dubai and instead offered it to his brother, who is 5-0 as boxer.
On the Maverick Club, he said: "They asked if I would fight Floyd Mayweather again. Jeff said yes. One of Floyd's guys.
"I told him that he should f*** himself. You have to first pay me the rest of what you owe me.
"Second, all you have to do is f*** yourself. But what if you give it to Jake?"
