Francis Ngannou, the former UFC heavyweight champion, has revived rumours of Tyson Fury cheating just weeks before their highly anticipated clash in Saudi Arabia on October 28.
Ngannou Claims Fury Tampers with Gloves
In recent interviews, Ngannou has alleged that Fury is "very tricky" with his gloves and believes that the Gypsy King cheats.
The Cameroonian fighter and his team are determined to closely monitor Fury's fight night gloves to ensure there is no funny business.
Ngannou stated, "We need every glove to be checked. If you want us to fight bare-handed, let's go bare-knuckle. But don't give me gloves with extra padding that leave me with no protection."

Accusations from Wilder
Ngannou is not the first to accuse Fury of manipulating his gloves. Former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder has lodged similar allegations against the British boxer.
Following their 2020 rematch, Wilder claimed Fury had egg weights in his gloves and accused Ricky Hatton, Fury's trainer, of tampering with the padding mid-fight.
In the lead-up to their third clash in October 2021, Wilder maintained that Fury's gloves had minimal padding.
Ngannou commented on Wilder's claims, saying, "We have nothing to lose by double-checking because multiple people have raised concerns about his gloves, including his opponents."

Fury Denies Allegations
Fury vehemently denied Wilder's accusations, dismissing them as "excuses". He insisted that both fighters wore the same gloves during their bout and that all the necessary checks were carried out prior to the fight.
Fury added, "Deontay Wilder got beat fair and square, and I'll be surprised if he ever boxes again."
The upcoming showdown between Ngannou and Fury is highly anticipated, and fight fans around the world are eagerly awaiting the outcome.
