On December 2, an article published that stated that the British icon was dead at 60

This fake report led to many calls to the manager of the 60 year-old, who was due to appear in Sheffield Saturday night for an event with supporters.

Frank's supporters were relieved when he took to social networking to assure them that he was safe.

He shared a tweet Saturday morning saying: "Morning. I was bemused that this yesterday suggested I had died!"

He later said: "Chill. I'm still alive and well, writing Christmas cards and working tonight. Looking forward to meeting my fans at Sheffield.

Bruno shared with the Sun last month that he was celebrating his landmark 60th birthday.

He stated that he considers Tyson Fury the most inspirational sports figure on the planet.

He explained how the Gypsy King was following his legendary footsteps, both inside and outside the ring.

Frank spoke out to celebrate his 60th birthday. He said Fury is Britain's best heavyweight fighter, but he deserves more for his advocacy of mental health awareness among troubled youth.

Frank shared how his friendship with Gypsy King helped him win his battle with mental illness after years of struggling to overcome his demons.

Frank said to HOAR, "I've seen a lot in my 60 years of life but seeing Tyson turn his life around might be the best."

Tyson has done more to raise awareness about mental health issues in recent years than anyone else.

"He's my favorite inspirational sports star.

"We both have had our ups and downs, but it has made us great friends. I now see firsthand how Tyson truly is on a mission to help others.

Tyson told me that he wants to find a cure one day for mental illness so others don’t have to go through what we did.

"I'D BACKFURY"

"And I'd back him to do it. Tyson is the only politician I trust more than any of these politicians.

Bruno beat Oliver McCall at Wembley in 1995, the year before his retirement from the ring. This was the WBC Heavyweight Championship. It is still one of the most prestigious moments in British sport.

He has been a national treasure because of his stage and screen career.

In 1996, when he retired from politics, a poll ranked him second behind Princess Diana in popularity.

Bruno was diagnosed with bipolar disorder five years after he retired and his life fell apart.

Since then, he has been sectioned and held as a psychiatric hospital patient - most recently, last summer.

He is now planning to open a series of mental health centers to assist those who have been through similar experiences.

"HARDEST 12 MOUNTHS OF MY LIFE"

Frank stated that the last 12 months were probably the most difficult in his life.

"Last year, I couldn't hold my heart open and say I wouldn't be out of the hospital to celebrate my birthday.

"I thought that I had everything under control, but Covid lockdown and lockdown pulled the rug out from under me.

"I had a hard time coping with being in prison and losing my friends from Covid. I needed to reset and get better. I did.

"But getting my freedom back and turning 60 have shown me something, it's that there's still so much to fight for.

"I have a lot of things I want to do. It's not about titles or belts. It's about helping others."

Bruno just published his 60-years-a fighter book. It tells his story about his extraordinary life.
