The Mountain has moved on from boxing to strongest man competitions.

With his 6ft 9ins frame, Game of Thrones fame and Game of Thrones status, he seemed to be the perfect candidate for the promotion.

Vince McMahon will be hosting guest appearances by Floyd Mayweather and Tyson Fury.

Logan Paul, the Impaulsive podcast host, said that a WWE switch was not right for him due to the time and travel commitments he faces.

Paul asked: "Have they ever thought of WWE? Was that something you were interested in?"

Bjornsson responded: "Theirs. They reached out to each other a few times.

"I thought about it, but like I said before... Iceland.

"The more I traveled, the more I came to love Iceland. The less I wanted to be there.

"When I was younger, I used to be like, "Yeah, I will move somewhere else."

"Then, I began to travel a lot and traveled around the globe. "

Bjornsson has sparred with Conor McGregor in the past and is now preparing for the big showdown with Hall next season.

He's already had three exhibition bouts, with his first two drawing. In September, he beat Devon Larratt by a knockout in the first round.

The 2018 world's most powerful man lost nine stone to get in shape for boxing. He told SunSport that he is always hungry.

Bjornsson stated that there have been some changes to the diet. He is now eating less than he used to.

"It was all about eating every 2 to 3 hours, large meals. But here, I'm almost always hungry, and would like to eat even more.

"The biggest changes in these two sports are the diet and training."
